Bletchley Dragons Reopening
Government controls have lifted a little, meaning that we are able to reopen the Bletchley Dragons dojo at the Coronation Hall from Monday 31st August. However, there are a number of restrictions still in place and therefore we will have a strict process when we reopen.
Covid-19 Symptoms
If a student, or anyone from their household, has experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, or been around someone with symptoms, then you MUST stay at home and not attend the class.
Students should self-check their physical condition ahead of every class if even if just ill with a cold or similar please stay home and get better.
Contact tracing
We need to take a contact-tracing register and share this with the Coronation Hall committee. By booking into a class, you are consenting that I can share your/your child’s name and contact number, along with the dates they have trained with the Coronation Hall administrator, where it will be stored for 21 days.
Class limit
We are limited to only 20 visitors per session. Therefore, anyone wishing to attend a session will need to book in through the online service at:
https://booking.appointy.com/eckabletchley
You will receive an email confirmation of successful bookings for a session.
Spectators will not be permitted to watch the sessions as that will result in fewer students being able to train.
We will let people enter the hall checking the booking system to ensure that only students who have booked in join in, we will also take the temperature of those hoping to train. Once we reach the capacity of 20, we will lock the main door to the hall, anyone who has not booked in through the webform, declared there are no Covid-19 symptoms, and consented to track and trace will not be permitted to train.
Training
At this point in time, all training is non-contact with no sparring. Due to social distancing and the increased risk of exertion, face-to-face and close contact pad work, sparring and competitive kickboxing of any kind is not permitted.
We will continue to monitor the guidance from WAKO Great Britain and will update you when contact is permitted.
Personal hygiene
Only essential items should be bought into the hall, no kit bags, and you should arrive in your training gi ready to participate with only essential items (keys, phone and drink) with you.
It is recommended that as soon as you arrive home after training that your kit is washed, and you wash your hands thoroughly.
Hall cleanliness
The Coronation Hall committee have committed that the hall floor and all touch points will be thoroughly cleaned between each group of hirers. There are hand sanitiser dispensers at the main doors in and out of the hall.
Ventilation
In order to reduce the risk from air-born particles during the session, we will have the garden and fire exit doors open to promote air-flow.
Arrival process
Please wait outside the hall, until the start time of the session, upon which only the students should enter the hall. We will be operating a one-way system so you will enter through the main entrance and remain in the hall until the session starts. Only one student will be permitted to use the toilet facilities at a time – during the session. Upon the end of the session, everyone will leave from the fire exit onto Mill Road.
